How to Use Activated Charcoal for Dental Health

Even though activated charcoal has been used since 1550 BC in ancient Egypt, it is still a great compound that can improve your life in a natural way. Brushing your teeth with a small amount of activated charcoal can help freshen your mouth, prevent cavities and even whiten your teeth without the use of harsh whitening agents such as fluoride.

Recipe for Natural Toothpaste

1/2 Teaspoon Activated Charcoal

2 Tablespoons Baking Soda

2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

1 Sauce Pan

1-Melt the coconut oil in a small sauce pan on medium heat until it is hot and completely melted

2-Once melted, pour into a heat resistant bowl and add in the activated charcoal and baking soda

3-Mix until it is cool enough to pour into a small, air tight container such as a plastic tupperware container

4-Be sure to rinse your mouth completely after use and do not swallow the mixture.
